This weeks knives are really neato IMO. I hope y'all love them.

1. Rebel - Tapered 1/8" A2, natural bolstered Blue Cloud G10 (jade w blue liners)
2. Hiking Buddy Jr - Tapered 3/32" A2, J. Hue Customs Resin (Tim Kipps is the best at this), black liners and white pinstripes.
3. Bushboot - Tapered 1/8" A2, Canary Yellow linen micarta, black liners with green-white-green racing stripes.
4. Hiking Buddy - Tapered 3/32" A2, black bolstered Zircote, yellow pinstripes

Usually it would be Greg, but there are a few others. The Bushboot is a popular model. I can't as say I blame you. Had I not just paid all my bills, put tires on my jeep, and invested in more sharpening equipment for the sharpening services I do at work and at home, I'd be in the fight myself this time. That yellow Bushboot is gorgeous!

I gave an NP friend, the closest thing to a doctor I have had the last 20 years, a yellow Case Baby Drs. knife as a thank you gift for the last 20 years, when Case unvaulted them for a quarter a while back. She asked me how I knew her favorite color was yellow, I told her I had no idea, but it made me think of her because she is almost as holistic as I am, and all the first flowers of medicinal plants in the spring are yellow, and so are some of the extracts I make from them. She said "yep, it is because of that that I have always felt like God's favorite color must be yellow, so it's my favorite color too".

So I have decided my next edc fixed blade is going to have a yellow handle. It would be awesome if it could be a Bushboot, because I still have an amazing left handed pocket sheath for a Bushboot personalized to me that Justen of Hell Bender Leather made for me, but now isn't the time, so this one isn't for me. But perhaps some day.
