Hi everybody. Here we are again at Fiddleback Friday time. I have a nice big batch to offer you today. Couple of 1/8” thick tapered and convex Bushfingers, a pink g-10 Ladyfinger with a tapered tang, and a new model too!!!

Also this week there are a good amount of base price Fiddlebacks.

As a reminder that we have machetes in stock.

As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.

The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with both Heber Ellsworth and Rick Lowe. Both make fantastic sheaths that are completely different from one another. I appreciate your support for them as well.

All of the steel this week is 3D Spalted 01.

Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.

Ladyfinger – PINK - this is a trial. I had a pink knife that didn’t sell once. Kept it a year. If this one don’t go, I won’t buy any more pink. Tapered tang for her pleasure.

Folks, we appreciate you checking out our knives. You keep us going here, provide two jobs besides mine, and feed 4 children and two wives. You have turned Fiddleback Forge from a hobby, into an American manufacturer. We never forget that!!! Thanks again.

How about pics of my Recluse. Keep in mind this has been stored in the sheath, out with the firewood (covered area), not cleaned up at all, not sharpened. Dylan got some arm hair off with it this am. Chris Reeves told Dan last Blade Show that the edge would rust off of 01 before you got to use it. Haha, I guess I better wait a few more years before this test proves that wrong! I still love this knife. 1/8” thick blade and Ironwood. Boy does it ever like to process by batonning nice knot free straight grained woods and slice off slivers of fatwood.

Yeah I've been waiting on a bushboot for quite a while now. Missed a couple opportunities so I'm glad I got the jump on this one

I hope the pink moves this time. Not for me though - the wife prefers blue, and is still scared when they're "too sharp."

Love my KE Bushie. Mine teams up with a Maratac Cu123 as well...

Was it Mist who was looking for a pink ladyfinger a couple weeks back? I hope they check the thread soon. That's basically the knife they described
 
Thanks. I'm just having fun. I support everyone getting what they're looking for, so I'm glad you got it. Post some pics when you put it to use, as those threads are always good to see.

It was schmittie, and I do hope he snags this one: it seems to be almost exactly what he was looking for. When I saw the picture come up I honestly thought Andy had made that one for him but that it made it into the batch somehow...where you at schmittie?!?!

I just hope my wife never, EVER sees this knife. I told her there was no such thing as pink G10/micarta (honestly thought this to be true) and I think if she saw this I'd have some Doublemint knives to sell and I'd be back on the hunt for new "pink" knives for her. Either way, it's different and it's definitely something special for the ladies out there so kudos to Andy for trying it out again.

Otherwise, wow...another outstanding batch. My eyes are bugging a little bit...that "Mega-Hunter" is friggin' AWESOME. Looks like it would be a batoning machine. I have wanted a hunter but disliked the fact that it's pretty similar in size to the Bushfinger. This one changes it up just enough that I think it may be just what I'm looking for...can't wait to see more of them in the future! Best luck with the purchasing, everyone, and congrats Fiddleback on another group of stellar knives.

EDIT: and just like that the Pink Ladyfinger finds a home...not quite a year, eh Andy? :D
 
There is some sweetness up in here! I'm diggin the bolstered combos. And it's nice to see the Ladyfinger didn't last long!
