Do you have any FBs you're particularly fond of that you want to pass on someday? To whom do you want to pass this knife to? How do you treat this knife; is it a user or do you keep this one nice and safe?

Better yet, have you already passed a FB on to somebody else. What's the story? How much did they love it?!

Pictures necessary of course!

Every time my four year old son sees me looking at fiddlebacks on the computer he points out the most colorful one and says "get that one dad, so you can give to me when I'm older!" I tell him "I'm trying man!" He has already claimed the glow in the dark bushcrafter! By the way he has laid claim to a bunch of your guys knives too from the collections photos :)

So disappointing...:( :D

When I first started buying Fiddlebacks, the Bushcrafter was the one that hooked me on handle feel. The first Nessmuk I bought hooked me on the quality, fit & finish. Photos of the one I bough are actually on the Fiddleback website as a Nessmuk example, so you can tell Andy liked it too. I immediately started searching for another and eventually scored one in maple burl to give to my brother. I also took the opportunity during the sheath making thread to try my hand at leather work and I made matching sheaths to go along with them. I was able to present his to him on his birthday last February. Here's pics of the set and the sheath my brother has. I gave him the better stitch job. I don't imagine we'll ever part with either and his son just turned six and already has his eye on the Nessie.

My 5 year old has already laid claim to the Maroon 3 Finger Karda with Mosaic Pin that we just got in from Blade Co USA.

Honestly, I think if she had it her way they would all be hers already lol. I'm lucky with her, she loves camping, wants to learn archery (when we finally get their visas and can move to US), and thinks that daddies knives are cool. Yeah, I have a feeling that she will be getting all of my blades when I pass, and I am happy with that. She really wants my Victorinox collection though, around 350 different Alox, so maybe someone else will wind up with the Fiddlebacks.
