Just an FYI to everyone: I know that we all like to drool over Fiddleback knife photos (well, maybe just knife photos in general, but I will stick to Fiddleback photos for now), so we're doing something new on the Fiddleback Forge blog postings: we're integrating Andy's Pinterest page with images that we're using in the blog postings. There are some great images that get used in the blog postings, but to keep everything flowing, the photos are scaled down to fit in with the text. We originally thought of having the photos pop-up in a larger size in a separate window. but we know that people like to share the photos as well. So, for the latest blog (I've provided the link below) and future blogs, clicking on any of the photos will take you to the larger version on Pinterest (and clicking again on the photo in Pinterest will give you the full-size version for desktop wall papers, etc.) and allow you to share (or "pin" it) through Pinterest.

A link at the bottom of the blog will also take you to the full Pinterest board (a.k.a. photo collection) for all of the photos in that blog. Eventually Pinterest will be expanded out with not only boards for each blog, but also boards for each model knife.

As we continue to work on the website and market the Fiddleback Forge brand, I hope you guys will find these services useful.

That's really cool XM, I'll enjoy seeing all of the Fiddleback photos, maybe they will even be larger on the Pintrest site than on the Fiddleback Friday posts :)

Yes - there was two reasons to integrate Pinterest: 1) allow easy sharing of the photos (you can "repin" images on your Pinterest page, if you have one, push the images out to social media channels like Facebook, or right-click and copy to your PC) and 2) allow us to upload large images so you can see more detail.

Hopefully this will make the images more accessible and useful for everyone and we won't have to put a lot of large images within the pages of the site that can slow it down or make it more difficult to read the text.

Getting the photos larger without using server space is a win win :)
