Hey folks,

I found this image while searching for examples of blades using this handle material (Juma). It's got the looks, but there are a few things that throw it off from more of the recent ones I've seen.

So, on to my main question, is this a Fiddleback?

Thanks all,

It does not appear to be one to me. The lanyard hole is not a bullseye and the pins are not the type I have seen on them.

Thanks guys, those were the things I was thinking too. I thought maybe it was an early early model.

The three pin motif lead me to believe knife in the photograph is a J.Oeser custom knife. I have no experience with his knives but they are striking.

That's the EDC Muk from Jared Oeser. I've got a couple of his now and GOD he makes a beautiful blade. Wish he had time to make more. He also makes some incredible classic folders.

Seriously, this MOAB from him has been my desktop wallpaper for like a year:

Yes, we are hoping to use juma in the near future. We haven't ordered any yet though so it'll be a little while before it shows up on any knives. But, thank you for the reminder... I'll get on it.
