I took the fam fishing in the creeks this weekend. When it came time to cook the fish on the bank I was foubd to have no lighter or even my standby fire steel. Way to go Dad!
So there I was with just my Izulla prepping a bow drill. All I could think was that this would have been way more fun with a scandi necker. What do you guys think about the idea. Necessity is the mother of envision.
got a design idea post it here. Maybe Andy will read it and make somthing new for us to druel over.
 
He's recently made several hidden tang knives that are super light, that'd fit the bill pretty good.
 
I have not seen the karda!! I will look into that. I have seen some of his hidden tang blades. Very nice.
Andy can you show us the hidden tang blade profile without the scales on it. This was my only real question
 
The Karda, Bushcraft Karda, or even a hidden tang Hiking Buddy would suit the task very nicely.
