Hello all! It's been a while since I wrote anything, it's about time I change that! Last year in one of our wish threads I mentioned that I'd love to have a 'Preacher's Knife' that would ride slim in my pocket. Well, our friend Andy delivered in a big way. This summer while Stateside, I picked up a beautiful Pocket Kephart with curly mango scales that has an amazing taper and less contoured handle scales. Add to that a sweet Joufuu ISP sheath and I've got a classy package that slides into my dress pants and disappears. Nobody will ever accuse me of not having a dressy knife while preaching every week! Thank you Andy! Thanks for your friendship and passion for tools!

The Pocket Kephart has seen some use, the Runt has seen a lot of use, and the BC Jr has seen a little action. I'm proud to own and use such fine tools. Andy you're a class act.

So what about you guys? Let's see your Fiddlebacks in their Sunday best!

 Congratulaciones! un trio muy bonito. That looks like a well loved Runt. I'm really liking the BC Jr, that may be my next acquisition. :)

Very nice knives. I think the PK deserves more attention than it gets. Very handy blade

Great pics! I'm glad you're liking the knife SA.

That pocket Kephart is gorgeous. I am wanting an Esquire for the same exact reasons. I may just have to go with a wooden handle on that one.

Edit: Ok so not the preaching part, just the classy pocket carry part :)

Heck of a trio for sure. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Gracias gusbuster! Me gusta las tres, cada uno es muy útil. Obviamente mi favorito es el Runt.

This combo is nice

That is a classy pairing! I could totally see myself using a combo like that with a suit!

The Pocket Kephart is still kind of a new kid on the block, and it is very new to me, but boy is it a great blade. It's blade shape is similar to the Esquire but it has a shorter handle, although the PK has a taller handle then the Esquire. I am loving it for it's intended uses, although I believe it is capable of much more. It is a very dressy looking knife.

Great pics! I'm glad you're liking the knife SA.

It has been in my pocket every church service since I've had it and I've carried it other random days just because I like it so much. It's all because of you, so thank you!

Those are three very nice Fiddlebacks!!

Yes sir! I agree! If my travels bring me back out your side of the country some year, I'll have to look you up and put the BC Jr to good use!

Heck of a trio for sure. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

And they are 'that' much nicer because of your craftsmanship too! Thanks for your part too!

I love/prefer the micarta and Shadetree handles for the majority of my knives, but boy do wood handles dress the knives up! It really is a classy pocket knife :) Oh, and I agree about the Esquire . . . that is why I have one of those with Curly Maple handles! The problem is, nobody makes their pants pockets the same, so sometimes the extra length of the Esquire's handles just doesn't work. That's not a knock against the Esquire though. I love how it fits in my hand and I love it's blade shape. It has pullled church (and plenty of other days too) duty on many an occasion since I've had it.

I was struggling to find sunlight when I took these pics, but hopefully they show a nice comparrison of the Pocket Kephart and the Esquire. The Pocket Kephart is 1/8" and the Esquire is 5/32".

Great story Condor. Love that PK. Both the Esquire and PK have super thin tapers. Man does that Runt looks well loved. Congrats on finding a great little gem in the PK.

I remember your post regarding the "Preacher Knife" so many months ago. I am glad that Andy was able to come up with something that has worked well for you in that role.

Here's a few of my Sunday best.:)

Bloodwood Runt and Ironwood Monarch

Had to include my Ironwood burl, and Stag Quartermasters.
