Hey Andy, did you ever post pictures of the collaboration knife you did? I searched but I may have missed it. :o

Thanks Tony, but I was actually wondering if Andy had ever posted pictures of the knife he finished. In that thread it says that they each were to handle the other's knife.

Anyone? Bueller?

I really liked the way the Fiddleback turned out with Turley scales and I am excited to see the Turley with Fiddleback scales! And a bullseye lanyard hole if I had to guess!

Well, I have the Turley downstairs awaiting the final sanding and finishing steps. Its got a sweet piece of stabalized dyed Maple burl.

Sounds nice, can't wait to see pictures!

Thanks for the reply Andy.

Any update on this project? Looking forward to seeing the maple burl.

Man! I have not. I need to finish it though.

OK guys. Finally put the finishing touches on this one. Its got stabalized dyed green Maple burl handles with nat micarta pins

I think I like your drop point blades best of all but man the dyed green maple looks awesome!

Whao! Not at all what I expected, man. Just when I thought I had you figured out you go and do something like this. Amazing!
That was a very cool surprise, man.
I had a blast doing this with you, btw. Maybe someday when things slow down for you (like that'll happen :D ) we can do another round.
Thanks, brother.

Lookin funky with all the color. Reminds me of a Garland. Thanks for posting the pics!

Just curious, why no bullseye lanyard hole? I thought that was your trademark.

It does sort of remind me of some of Bernie's work.

Now that you mention it, I'm wondering the same thing. Maybe he only trade marks knives that are solely his.

I marked the spine with Fiddleback. It'll go up for sale. If someone wants it please call. My intnet is down. Posting from phone.

Iz, we definitely need a round 2. New design we come up with as a team.

Sounds fantastic, man!
It's not comfortable seeing old work that I've done. I see so many flaws in my old stuff.....there's some in my new stuff, too though. heh.
Yeah, you holler when you want to do the next collab, I'm good to go at a moments notice.

I'm definitely no sheath master but I gave it my best shot.
It's hard to read but the front shield says "Turley- Fiddle back"

Thanks for looking,
Iz
