Yesterday I started a two day class with a young man and his father. Day 1 we start with barstock. We profile, drill, bevel, heat treat, clean, prep, and glue up the knife.

He'll be back today to shape handles. Finish grind and sharpen the knives. The student does two, I do one. He picked the Bushboot model.

These are the 3 Bushboots we finished together in the class. A2 in various thicknesses.

I've been trying to talk a conspicuous customer into coming down for the class. No success yet though. Maybe this thread will help.
