OK. Here is my idea. Its a Youtube Video contest. You must use your Fiddleback Forge knife to complete a bushcraft project and document it in a video you post at Youtube. The video's would have to be uploaded on a certain date, and two weeks later the video with the most hits wins a Fiddleback Woodsman!

Whatcha think? Is there interest in this? I would need at least ten participants for this to be worthwhile. If there is interest, I'll start a signup list when I return from the red stick.
 
I love the idea. I don't have a method of recording video, but I can always eat popcorn and watch the other participants entries. Is this going to be a convex or scandi woodsman?
 
I think it's an AWEsome idea....Would I have time to purchase and recieve a Fiddleback knife in that time?? I think I saw you had Ladyfingers available...nothing else?

This is a very cool idea. I hope people think outside the box on this one, not the standard "here's how to make a fire bow drill" stuff.
 
I think it's a good idea, I just don't own one of you knives yet. Uh oh. Well, that will be fixed son enough.
 
I already have one done. I built a figure four deadfall with nothing but my bushcrafter. But I could do another vid on something else.
Is there going to be a set task or anything we want?

Very cool idea. I really would like this to see this happen. You want at least ten participants, but doesn't look like you are there yet so I'll give it a shot. I have absolutely no idea what project to do....but what the hell. It sounds fun.
 
This is progressing nicely. I'll start a signup list, and if we get ten or more folks we'll do the contest.
 
That is up to youtube my friend. My rules are going to be simple. More views in same time = winner!

If I were y'all, I'd go check out Mike Snody's video's. He told me that he was making the video's with country music, and they were getting no hits. He switched to rap, and now MTV is doing a piece on him!
 
While the more views being a winner makes sense; it does give a big advantage to those who already have well established YouTube accounts with a lot of subscribers. Just a thought!
 
Hadn't thought of that! Hmmm.
