Simple and reasonable requests for the Handmade section:
  • Add an ascending/descending Sort By (at a minimum Date Added and Model)

Even mo bettah still:
  • A Search By text and wildcards in addition to filters (yes, I know there a search option right now)
  • Ascending/Descending Sort By or Filter By any/all of these
    • Model
    • Blade Thickness
    • Blade Length (increments of .5")
    • Steel Type
    • Tang Type
    • Price

Thanks!

I guess it might be redundant, but I’d also add a filter by “intended use” category, i.e. woodcraft, bushcraft, food prep, EDC, utility, etc.

I use the word redundant only because all of the Fiddleback knives can be used for just about anything if one puts his/her mind to it; however, I’m talking more about the specific purpose for which Andy designed the knife. The craft in which a particular model really shines. Sometimes the descriptions will give the intended purpose or “best suited for *fill in the blank*”, and I find these descriptions to be quite helpful for making an informed choice. The redundancy refers to possibly having overlapping models that fit more than one category.

Just a thought. :)

Maybe an easy to find link to distributors. Not hard to figure out if you dig, but I thought it might help people stopping in and browsing and looking for the perfect blade.

Is it possible for you to list the blood type of each driver that delivers the steel to Andy. Ok that might be going too far but rare blood type donors are hard to find. The easier ways to search sound good though.
As long as we're going for blood types, we could always ask for "Who the hell concocted this configuration?" or "What genius crafted this configuration?" depending on the eye of the beholder. lol

All kidding aside the search features I use the most on the dealer sites are A-Z or Z-A depending on the model I am looking for or Newest-Oldest so I can quickly see if something new dropped. Newest-Oldest would not matter to most of us here because we tune in sometime each Friday. Blade HQ has the ability to do some of the most detailed searches which is very helpful when dealing with large numbers of possible knives.

Right now they're in alpha order but there are 6 pages to click through at the moment. And that brings up another feature request ...

Option to load 10, 25, 50, all per page would be nice.

Yep, Blade HQ is the bomb when it comes to that. "Hey Robert! Yeah, just go do what they did! Piece of cake!! ;)" hahaha
