In general, how well do they hold up? I need some work boots, I do a lot of walking across varying terrain a lot of damp grass. I found a pair of Field and Stream boots in my price range that fit my goofy shaped feet. But if they're just going to fall apart after a couple of months, I'll just buy a pair of cheap rubber turd stompers and deal with it.

I have a pair of there wellington pull ons and they have been great boots. They are probably 1 1/2 years old and holding up very well. I changed the insoles out at about the one year mark.

I wonder who makes the Field & Stream boots? I'm not familiar with them per se but I assume you're talking about a Dicks Sporting Goods house brand? With rubber boots, I stick to Lacrosse, but have been looking at Muck these days also as an option. I think Lacrosse boots are worth the extra bucks for their comfort. I wear them for work and hunting type scenarios where I need rubber boots.

Muck boots are comfy, but too hot for summer, never tried the warm weather ones. I have some cheapy rubbers from mosquito control work. I bought the Field and Stream Field Seeker boot from Dicks regular hiking style 8" boots for my new work boots.
