Just finished this today.
I made this as a site clearing tool easy to pack or carry.
The blade and tang are 1075-80 spring steel. the pommel and bolster sides are mild. The sharpened edge is 5.5/8" and it's 11" overall.
The scales are fancy quilted maple 5" long.
I went with all rivits on this sheath for the look. The beltloop holds it high on the hip with the handle hanging down. At a standing position the pommel is at right at your hand.
The hole in the blade is a finger pull to lift it from it's sheath.
This is the 1st. of 3 that I'm doing.
This one just listed on ebay. Hopefully it was worth making.:)
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Thanks for the compliments.
I always list cutting tools on ebay under the heading of
"handmade fighting bowie knife" and then / cleaver, trapper, etc.
This way someone looking for a bowie might decide they really needed a cleaver ;).
Glad you like it,
Mike
