This list is now several months out to the end, so I'm going to go ahead and close it now. Thank you to everybody for your orders.
Please post only one time to this thread. Please do not make multiple posts or chat. This is my order list and it needs to stay simple and uncluttered or it isn't going to work.
I'm making this list because so many people have requested one, not because I want one. It is difficult for some folks to make it to a normal Friday sale, so this is to accommodate those folks.
I'm sorry, but this pre-order list is not open to registered users. Communication problems are at the root of much heartburn and if I can't reach you through PMs there are potential problems. Anyone is free to buy what they'd like at a regular sale, but the pre-order list is only open to basic members and above.
I'm not going to stop my weekly sale. Extra capacity will go towards fulfilling this list. Folks buying on a sale will get their knives quickly. Folks on this list will get their knives when I'm able.
If you sign up for this list, please complete your end of the deal. It may take a week, it may take months, it depends on turn-out and where you are on the list. I'm going to take full payment in advance and hold your money. While I think this is usually a bad policy, so I don't generally recommend it, I've been around a while, my shop is an incorporated business established in 2001, so I'm probably not going anywhere. I will ship your knife when it's finished. Please don't cancel your order or change your order once it is confirmed.
When you place your order it will sit on the order thread for a day or more before we process it. In that time frame you can change your order. So, if you wake up and decide you want one instead of two, or you want micarta instead of G10 you can edit your post. Once Jo contacts you and you finalize your order it is finalized. Please don't add changes after-the-fact because it is this sort of thing that made my last list unmanageable and the reason I haven't kept a list in years.
There are fewer options in the pre-order. We mix in changes and options in the sales to keep things interesting for you guys and to prevent monotony here in the shop. It's fun. But this list is about simplicity, so I'm going to limit options to just a standard basic configuration.
I'm limiting the scales colors to the three constant standards.
All of the knives in this list are field grade, milled and tumbled, Delta 3V at HRC 61-62. They're all sharpened at 18 degrees per side. They all come with a basic black Kydex sheath.
There are three scales options: natural micarta, black micarta or black G10. Micarta costs $235, G10 costs $245. Shipping for one or multiples in the USA is a flat $10.
Jo will contact you to determine your payment preference. Options are check, cash, MO and paypal. You will also need to confirm where you want it shipped. This will be done by Jo the Machinist private message.
This list will be for at least 40 knives. If it's going smooth I will extend it.
In order for this to work I need it to stay simple.
