Hey there folks, I've got a question for those of you with eagle eyes. I was reading a buddy's book called the "Total Outdoorsman Manual", pretty fun little book, great introduction for kids to the outdoors, but I'm getting sidetracked. Anyways, on the cover is a pretty good looking knife.. a general outdoors knife I assume, but I have no idea what knife it is or who makes it. What do you guys think?

Looks like a Benchmade Rant to me. Specifically the 10505 drop point.

Just a guess based on the style and thinking the book is a little older that the knife was made by SOG or another company that I do not think is still in business (someone please correct me if I am wrong) Katz. Keep in mind it is just a guess.

I know I was the one that asked the question but let me bounce this one off you guys...

Do you think it's sorta a photochoped Randall? It looks like it could be "The Woodsman" with a different handle style. The reason why I think it looks like a Randall is the choil looks just like a Randall's except smaller.

But after taking a look at what Planterz suggested, the Benchmade Rant, I think we might have found a winner...

Not a Randall; Benchmade Rant. I've seen that book in Lowes here, and it looks useful for someone who's starting out in the outdoors.
