Dressed, skinned, and boned two bucks this past weekend. Worked so well I'm thinking of offering same models with stainless guard and bead blasted canvas micarta and calling it the guide version.

What does a set like this go for?

Have you a website where we can see more of your work?

I like these two a LOT! Thanks for sharing the pics :)

Woah, I love the shape of the handle on the bottom knife, very very nice!!!!

That top one looks kind of like a Sendero, very classy! How about some specs, those are cool knives.

Thanks,
I forged them at the school in Arkansas. 5160, N/S, maple. I have 3 more sets coming, also some nice bowies. I'm still getting set up and not quite ready to start selling yet. Hope to have a web site up in a month or so. www.farrknives.com

Nice work. I like both of them. Is there a sort of diagonal cross hatch pattern on the blades, or is this just an anomoly of the camera?
Also, what did you use to stain the maple with? It looks great.
Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see a Bowie like these.

Damn, those are NICE! You seem to be progressing along quite nicely. I too, really like the bottom one's handle.

The cross hatch pattern is a reflection of the light diffuser in the ceiling. Blades have a buffed polish that I think helps with corrosion resistance.

P. S. Danbo, I have a 7" bowie I'm working on that I think you will like.

Hey Sabre,

Nice looking knives. I really like the top one. It has whitetail written all over it :)

Nice work!
To let you other folks in on it, I went to the same class as Sabre this past September and he turned out A BUNCH of very, very nice looking blades. Watch this fella's work! He's good.
