Hi Guys,

I thought I share some pictures of our field work preparing wood for the winter for our forest shed deep in the Slovak woods above the town called Terchova.
Traditionally we brought some Plum brandy (although the closest to tradition would be Borovicka) to quench our thirst. It has 52% alcohol. So along the FFBM we had an other strong argument. I hope you like the pictures.

Awesome man! I do prefer homemade but with Bošacká you can´t go wrong.

Great pix in nice place. Just be careful handling that knife and Fiskars axes after drinking that.

Thanks!

If I could get my hands on homemade quality ... I'd be more than happy.
We did the drinks after the work was done. Responsibly. Still need our hands and limbs :-)

Before I kick the bucket, Slovakia is definitely on my BUCKET LIST!!! Great pics Bro...

The FFFBM is one of the best knives out there for processing wood. It has great geometry for splitting. Thanks for the pics!

Cool to see Busse knives hard at work in far away lands! Thanxx for sharing the pix here with us!! :)

oh man... is that blue-black G10 on tanker gray???

Pretty sure it's an Urban Gray FFFBM with red & blue G-10 mags from the Store like this one I had long ago, which pre dates the introduction of the Tanker Gray color...

It is definitely a Superman Blue&Red G10. I do not know whether it is Tanker or Urban Gray I never had both. The Urban Gray on your picture Jaxx looks more grainy and this one is smooth.

Sweet knife and sweet cabin

very sexy blade and looks like a hell of a spot in the country. thanks for sharing

Very nice! Looks like a gorgeous spot too :)

Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!

Thanks Guys. It is a quite nice place. More importantly it is quiet. Terchova is the village above which start the woods. Above and beyond and amids the woods lay some larger grass fields. And the couple of cabins (2 of which are visible, 5 in total) was used 100 years ago as a summer place for sheep herders and their families.

The one I had was smooth to the touch, but definitely did have texture. The more I look at your beauty...is it coated? Looks like a sweet double cut (beadblast) finish on the steel instead. :)

It is definitely coated in Gray. I am attaching another picture to show the coating wear. Also has a texture. Small grain.

Ok, then it's definitely Urban Gray. :) Tanker Gray is a very dark gray. Yours looks good used! It's showing the love. :D:thumbup:

Edited To Ask: Is that HOFSH handle green linen??? :)

Hi. Great pics! The cabin makes me jealous... it must be very pleasant to have such a quiet and private place. And the FMB rocks too!

I love the Black and Blue G-10, it looks sweet on the bigger blades!
