What type of lock is on the Fielder (non-assisted)? Your website says "Our proven lockback system provides reliability as well as an ambidextrous opening of the Fielder’s capable blade.", but in every picture I can find, it looks to me like a liner lock, not at all a lockback.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or does the SOG marketing and copy editors not know the difference between a lockback and a liner lock?

It is a liner lock. I have proof read that copy a couple times and completely missed that line. Correcting it right now. Sorry our mistake.

A quick question why is it labeled ambidextrous when it is not? the pics on your site clearly show the thumb stumb is only on one side. This is a righty only knife-

I almost bought this knife yesterday, i'm glad i waited and checked the website pics first. Another reason why i don't care for blister pack packaging, it prevents you checking the lockup and prevents you from seeing both sides of the knife. If it wasn't for the website pics i would have likely bought this knife (and later returned it when i realized it was righty only).
