is the only functional difference in these two really just the tweezers? on the victorinox website they didn't even bother with a different picture for the red huntsman vs fieldmaster, it's the exact same picture used for both of them. the standard plain red huntsman is $0.44 more than the fieldmaster for one less feature on the river. I just find it hard to believe they would make two identical knives one sans a feature plus a logo instead of just making a boyscout version of the fieldmaster, since the huntsman can be had with or without the logo. I suppose the huntsman can be had in different colored scales as well, but two nearly identical knives when different colored scales and a logo aren't redesigns or anything just strikes me as inefficient. are there more differences that aren't listed?

thanks for the link, I didn't even know that existed. they mention the boyscout version actually is a fieldmaster and that maybe it was a mistake...
BSA Huntsman (US Model 55201) has a Boyscouts of America (BSA) logo on the handles and replaces the corkscrew with a Phillips screwdriver. It is really a Fieldmaster based on the included tools, but Victorinox chose to call it a Huntsman, or it could have been a mistake that didn't get noticed in time.
I probably didn't pay attention to pictures of other colors of the huntsman to notice the corkscrew, I did see the Philips in the picture of the boyscott huntsman and compared the list of features, which leaves out tweezers on the boyscout version.

Are you saying the BSA version does not have tweezers? The BSA model DOES in fact have tweezers. Hope this helps.

You think they would send the Boy Scouts of America into the woods without tweezers. :D

lol, that's what was curious about, the victorinox site shows they don't have tweezers.

I was about to add it to my basket to order it and looked it up on the victorinox website and saw it only showed 14 tools, copied and pasted the 15 listed and deleted each one until I figured out the missing one and said "whoa, whoa... I can't order one of these that doesn't have tweezers! that would be blasphemy." anyway, thanks for the insight.

Fieldmaster has philips
Huntsman has corkscrew

Fieldmaster with BSA logo is called a Huntsman.

Victorinox can be quirky with names.
