Hello my traditional chums. I wanted to swing by and check in on you all.

Unfortunately I have been incredibly busy at work, and a little at home. Some of you have kindly noted, I've been on a bit of a forum hiatus….but rest assured, I have been keeping the faith…..



….I thought I'd covered all the lovely pointies I've been toting whislt 'AFK' but I seem to have missed my CC Radio Jack….oops!
It's been well worked after my taking a while to warm to it.

I wanted to also take the time to thank both Frank (knarfeng) & Brian (mr_badexample) for sending me some great spices from local sources.
They were both incredibly generous. Frank…..the Hot Sauce is like licking the surface of the sun, but its awesome! Brian, I've got to wait a while longer to try the rubs, they sound and smell superb.

And to all those of you who cared wondered where I had strayed, well thanks again for your concerns.

Can't promise normal scruffy-service shall be resumed just yet, but I shall shove a rocket up it!* and endeavour to swing by with better frequency *The irony of that statement I hope won't be lost on a couple of you.

Glad you're back. I'll google irony one of these days. I get it mixed up with sarcasm, facetiousness, and litotes.

I blame Alanis Morrisset- that song "Ironic" fails dismally in my view, "rain on your wedding day" is not irony nor ironic. It is simply bad luck or a bad omen as some may perceive.
If however you were a weatherman then rain on your wedding day would somewhat ironic.
