Fifty-six years ago I had a wreck

I was drunk outt'a my gourd. Was too drunk to walk so I drove . Today it happened again. I was stone sober & it was NOT my fault. Never sued anyone before but the FHP Lt. told me to see an attorney.

I ran my de-icers & had clear vision. I made a left turn into the rising sun & WHAM. I hit 2 traffic cones & creamed a lane-closed directional arrow machine. $2,000 damage to it. It was NOT lighted.There was NO sign upon leaving Pionsettia drive & entering U.S.17 south. I am black & blue ,sore all over & just finished a session on a heating pad & a muscle rub. I might have a minor whip-lash.
Minor damage to my tough old G M C ,amounting to maybe one to $400.

FHP said I was a tough old bird.
Thank the Lord I wasn't hurt more.

Thank God you are alright.

Hope you and the ol' GMC are back to 100% in short order.

If you were drunk, you might have been driving more carefully, more intentionally. And you might not have hit that friggin' machine.

Was advised I was being sued for over $17,000 over a comtract dispute. Gotta' file a counter suit and one against the highyway people,get my photos developed [ keep an el chepo camera in your glove box like me ]for my lawyer,visit a doctoe & have 6 or 7 more moles removed. Busy day tomorrow,eh ?

Send me money[crackling kind ] refundable bottles ,food stamps,uncanceled stamps,etc or call me at br409 .' Jr. Samples old # .'

Thats what makes the U.S. so great, there was cones on the road and you can still sue. I almost went off the cliff in another country that didn't even have a guardrail, reflectors or signs on the road. You can't sue those governments b/c they are all broke.

I was NOT charged. The FHP Lt. drove me up & down the route & pointed out the faulty sign & cone placement . He said I was the victim & should see a lawyer. I did & he has written the sign folks & their insurance co.

I am going to a chiropractor 3X week for an indefinite period. I have 1 disc that won't stay in . I've had 2 lombar laminectories [fusion] & at 80+ do not want anymore.

I am just glad that you are ok. It is no fun hitting something like that at any age.

Today the Dr. fitted me with a large,heavy,bulky body brace. Looks & feels like the iron maiden.

It was rather pleasant. This Friday dr. Gordon will summarize my new injuries & determine what new damages have arisen. Then we will have a launching pad for what $$$$ to sue for. If he puts it on the AMA sheet,it is accepted as gospel.

This is not intended to be a pity-party but illustrate modern medicine & the power of a lawyer that goes for the jugular .
