I finished up the second fighter I've been working on yesterday and wanted to see what you fighter lovers think of this one.

OAL 14 1/2"- Blade 9 3/8"- top clip 7" and sharp. Hardware is 1080 and the handle is double dyed box elder.

I have to say that reducing the photos really deteriorated their quality.

What do you think?

I rarely post just to say "nice knife", but nice knife Bill! I love the guard/ ferrule. So clean and elegant!

I usually always try to post if it's a Fighter or a Bowie.
WOW.Very nice.:thumbup:Love the blade with that long clip, the wood in the handle is gorgeous and looks nice with the hardware.
A very nice fighter.

Bill, you've obviously got waaay too much time on your hands! Nice knife. Just my silly opinion, but I think this one would even better with an "S" guard instead of the loop. But, it still gets a huge thumbs up!

that is a beautiful knife mr. Buxton i love the work that went into that one. an exquisite handle and guard work! GREAT!

Too pretty for a fighter, every time a person drew it out he'd have to stop and admire it, could be fatal!

Thanks everyone for the great comments. I love these ringed fighters, anyone that thinks their to bulky or clumsy hasn't handled one like this, it fits the hand like a glove, the ring is very comfortable on the index finger and it gives you great security against slippage when your hands are wet. This one is going to a military man and I guarantee you it won't be admired if its needed, maybe by who's looking down the business end. ;)

Thanks again,

Bill

Thanks again Guys.

Danbo, bring that girl in your avatar to Duncans hammer in, I'll bring the water fountain.
