Fighter or Bowie???

Just finished, I see knives that look similar to this that some call Bowies and others call the same a fighter. what would yall call this one?
7" damascus 1095 and 15N20 12" OAL
satin finished 416 stainless fittings, stag.

honestly I would have called it a bowie.

one of the major factors to me that distinguishes between a "bowie" and a "fighter" is the profile of the tip, how much belly is evident.

to me a "bowie" has a more rounded tip that lends itself to more tasks

a "fighter" has a much "pointyer" tip

yours is rather borderline between the two to my eye.

and blended styles always have a lot of room for personal influence.


if you say it's a fighter it's a fighter, if someone wants to buy your fighter and use it to chop wood, that works too
