I got this twisted fighter finished up this morning.

OAL- 13" with an 8" blade, steel - 1080-15n20 and nickel sheet. Guard , spacer and pommel are all from the same damascus. The handle is Black ash burl. What do you all think?
Thanks for lookin.

I think, ('cept for some exotic steel like the flag blade), that this is just about the best piece of yours I've ever seen, my friend. I'm staggered. Absolutely stunning, Bill!

that is some awesome looking damascus  very nice knife. i like the look of the same damascus all the way thru.

It's like I said about Gib the other day Bill. It's really hard to critique your work because it's so darn good.
I have to agree with Fitzo. This may be your best yet. The Damascus is stunning. The fittings just belong and the burl looks like mother nature grew it just for that knife. :) :) :) :)

Not much left for me to say, except I think that's my favorite of your work so far. The recurve and the guard just blow me away. Dang! Thanks for sharing, you made my day. This is what it's all about...

You know I like that thing.  I love me some curves on fighters.

WOW, thanks everyone for the great compliments. It is truly a thrill to have so many great makers comment so nicely, don't get me wrong I really appreciate the comments from non-makers too. They all are all truly humbling.

Thank You.

Bill

I think that's one of my favorites, Bill. I love your work but, that one just calls out to me. Great, overall just great.

that's a wonderful knife!! My favorite part is the bedspread background. (just kidding!!) So, how many layers in the steel you've folded up here? It looks like, well, not too many. I like that!, if that's the case; makes for a nice bold pattern without too much "squiggley".

Thanks again for the great compliments everyone.

Mitch, 56 with a few twists and turns along the way.

Thank you

Bill
