Here’s my latest; a fighter in 5160 and Desert Ironwood. Blade is 8 3/8” long, 1 5/8” wide, and ¼” thick at the ricasso. Overall length is 13 3/8”. The guard is etched and cold blued mild steel, and the spacer and pin are both stainless.
The balance point it right at the plunge.
You’ll notice that there’s a small pit left over from forging, hardly 'brut de forge', but worth mentioning.

Great looking knife Will.
There are a lot of little things I like about the knife.
1st glance the shape and profile really flow together nicely.
Looks great and appears to be user friendly as well.

For those who find this stuff interesting; here are some in-progress shots:

Forged blade welded onto a handle for normalising and thermal cycling.

Heating up.

Cooling down.

Tang and ricasso softened a bit after hardening.

Clip bevels almost done.

Filing the guard to shape.
