Well, about the only thing this one has going for it are the edges -- they're sharp! But for workmanship, this one is sad; good thing for poor photography. :D

I'm giving it to the guy who convinced me to start making knives again, this was one that'd laid in my screwed-up pile for 10 years, finally decided to throw a handle on it and give it away.

Away it goes!

dosen't look screwed up to me! some of my best, come out of the oh!!@#$$%% pile after i leave them there for a while a new idea will come on what to do best.

Sorry, I should've left some specs:

440C, 12.25" overall, 7" blade, tapered tang, red fiber liners, brass pins and bolsers, poly pearl scales (admittedly an acquired taste :D ).

Laurence, in this case my only idea was to try to hand rub the belt divots out! It was moderately successful. This was my first attempt at hand finishing, and I stopped too soon at 400 grit.

Here's a better shot of the bolsters.

Awesome fighter! THat blade shape is great.

I have almost finished hand fixing some mistakes I made with my grinder too! Well, it isn't really a mistake, but I dis one step before doing another step that shoul have been done before...

Long story short: In total, about 2 hours of hand work have gone into doing a job that should have taken 15 minutes tops on my grinder! I love knife making :)
