Hey I just finished this one up today. This is one of those forged years ago and laid around waiting for me to figure out what to do with it kind of knives. I think I might keep this one for myself and take it to Iraq. It sure cuts like crazy.
Any feedback on the design is welcome! I might try to make more like this one in the future.

Steel: 1095
Blade: 5"
Thickness: 3/16ish at ricasso (I'm swagging these specs)

Thanks for looking.

Whit

At the risk of arm-chair quarterbacking, I think a grind that good deserves a nicer handle.

That's a fair critique. I guess it's a compliment really. I think maybe Desert Ironwood on the next one...

With desert ironwood that knife would be absolutely amazing! Now it is just plain amazing! :D

very nice piece, looks perfect for what I call the punch slice hold . If it is going to Iraq , I would keep the nylon cord handle .

Hey, no matter how you do the handle that knife is sweet! Just the right size. It looks very cool as is and a tactical style sheath like a Blackhawk or Spec-Ops would really set it off. IMHO. Very cool work.
