Anyone seen the movie the Fighter? Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. Great movie. I was really surprised at how good it was. The boxing isn't bad, but the movie was great. I know it came out last year and I'm late to the party, but if you want to see a good movie, see the Fighter.
 
I thought it was real good, and an actual good portrayal of people from the Lowell area. The acting was great, and as usual, Christian Bale stole the show.

BTW, Amy Adams, OOH LA LA!

I thought the movie was overrated. I remember thinking, if you've seen one inspirational boxing movie, there is no purpose in seeing Fighter. There was some great acting in it though.

It's been forever since I saw Rocky. Actually, I think I saw a couple minutes of it. However, Raging Bull was a great movie, and while Fighter is not on the same level, it was still a pretty good movie.

Can we put the Quiet Man in the same category of movies, that was good :D.

However, this inspirational boxing movie is a true story. Overrated? Perhaps...
