Here's a hunter I just finished, that will ride along with the subhilt fighter I posted earlier this week.
It too is forged from 52100, nickel silver fittings, ebony handle material. OAL 10 1/2", 5 3/4" blade - 4 3/4" cutting edge, flat ground- mirror finished, 3x quenched, 3x tempered.

Bill, that's a great-looking set. I really like the ebony handles, and the spacer on the hunter where the subhilt is on its buddy.

Thanks guys for all the compliments, I really like the way these 2 came out, looking like a set.

John, chevron magnum quench oil, tempered at 375 for 6 hrs.
