Here's one that will be carried in the field. 11 inch 1075 blade, sharpened clip, stainless guard, blackwood handle, lefty concealment sheath by David Seward. Although it's big it is very fast...gives a nasty little hiss on the back-cut. Sorry for the crummy photo, but y'all get the idea.

Exceptionally well done.....you are making fine knives, young Ben.

Really like the hamon line, the turnback or "boshi" is quite correct and elegant, and the restrained belly of the cutting edge....it will make a fine stabber as well as slicer.

Take care, and Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Great Fighter....said Marine will "be able to cut his way through walls of human flesh"....quote attributed to a buddy of mine that retired from the military. ;)

Id have loved to carry that down range when I was in the Marines. Beautiful work

Coolest thing I've seen all day.
Great piece and package, Ben and David.
Sweet hamon.

Doug

Super nice Ben, love the hamon.

Thanks, guys. STeven, that means a lot coming from you...I haven't forgotten our conversation at BLADE. Sometimes I get the boshi better than others but at least now I know what I'm shooting for. Rick, I have your knife on the workbench now...I'm looking forward to seeing that carbon fiber on the big guy!

Me too. I will be sending the balance of your order over to you shortly. Speak soon.
