Fighting Bowie with hamon

Here is my fist finished, hidden tang knife with a double guard.
W2 with hamon. Black linen micarta handle, 416 guard and black g10 and copper spacers.

Big shout out to Jason Knight and Nick Wheeler for the inspiration and the help along the way.

Looks like you ground it nice and thin, mean slicer.

It was ground pretty thin and then the edge was convexed.

The belly showed up because the other two bowies that I had worked on failed and didn't look right when I was done heat treating them, they were pretty straight, so I added some belly to this one.

It is 1/4" thick at the ricasso. And the blade is ~9.25"
