In a family collection I found a Buck 110 Custom Limited Edition with the certificate referering to it as etched Fighting Bucks one of a limited edition of 750 produced for Gander Mountain by Buck Knives. It is stamped with a serial as 724 of 750. To describe the blade it has two bucks in gold fighting and two doe in gold towards the tip. Everything is in the original Buck Custom Knife box with wall mount wood display cradle, pocket sheath, and all original paper work.
If any of you know the value of this piece I would appreciate your reply.

-Thanks
PS. It has two dots before the model number and two dots after which I belive makes it a 1986 model from what I saw on the Buck website.

EEE3155,

Can you post a pic? It will make identification much easer :) . It sounds like a 1985 production....Project # E-4014 "Fighting Bucks", 4 dot with Orange wood handle.

I'll be happy to post as soon as I figure out how to do so on here, its asking for a URL and I am not real computer savvy.

It's asking for a URL because only Gold [paid] members can embed photos...Non-paying members can only link from outside accounts...

I can't guarantee this will work, but it is worth a try...

John...
Could you perhaps be more specific? Day shift or night shift?
LOL
;)

I think JB nailed it. A picture would help to ID for sure but it sure sounds like the project from 1985.
FYI, I would go with the data you get from that Joe Houser guy. I hear he is an expert. :o :foot:

I have the same Buck 110 Fighting Bucks knife, with 4 dots, gold etched, Gander special. It’s a beauty.

Monahsetah, welcome to the Buck forum. I also like the gold etched blade knives. Just a hint, please pay attention to the age of the posts you are responding to. You have dredged up some very old posts from 2006 and 2011. General etiquette here would be to not respond to and renew these very old posts, better to start a new one of your own. Often times the people who created or participated in these old listings are no longer active here. How about starting a new thread of your own and show us pictures of yours? We would like to see them. /Roger
