Fighting/Utility in the Kitchen

My fighting days are well past me. Well,actually they never emerged. But, many are the days of utility.

In honor of Pi Day, I pulled my never-before-used USMC Fighting/Utility knife out to do the honors.




It was more than up to the task.




Mines's got something of an odd tip to it.




I might have to do some grind/mod work on it.

Or maybe just see how many pies it takes to wear the coating off!

Anybody else using one in the kitchen?

I have actually. My F/U doesn't see tons of work (and no fighting either), but I pull it out from time to time to relish in the awesomeness that is stacked leather.

This photo is from a while back, but its a good one (well, it tasted great). Homemade pumpkin chocolate chip bread. It tastes better than it looks (and doesn't look bad mind you).

Mine has a slightly funky tip as well, although not quite as bad as yours it appears.

Bread sounds good too. I'll eat anything pumpkin!
