I have only seen a couple of these, and those were on Ebay. I've done a Google search, and looked through all my knife referrences, but can't seem to find anything. It appears these knives are 'benchmade' by an individual, with Queen blades/parts.

Can anyone clue me in? Who's responsible for them?

Sarge;

I don't know much more than you do about these, but I do know that Wendell Carson of Missouri is assembling them. Parker's catalogs have listed them - all made up of Queen parts. All I know about Wendell Carson is that at one time he was a repairman of antique knives. He has advertised the FB knives in Knife World classified ads recently.

here s a good answer
i just got this from him yesterday. check it out . absolutely beautiful mammoth ivory with blue and filework :D

Wendell Carson is a custom knife maker out of Mississippi that mainly uses Schatt & Morgan stock to customize his knives. He seems to specialize in exotic handles such as mammoth, ivory, seacow bone and lots of other materials. He usually does filework on the springs and just makes a well made good looking knife that is very affordable for a custom.

What seems to be the best part of buying a Wendell Carson knife though is dealing with him personally, he is as good as they come and maybe a hair better...Here is his bio and a link to his knives on Ebay...

Here are my two Fightin Bull Knives in Bark Mammoth & Seacow..:)

I seem to recollect sunburst put me and some others on to Mr. Carson's little custom slippies in another thread a while back and is right on the mark with his evaluation. I just received this traditional Trapper in the mail this morning and these knives are first quality all the way and are a fabulous value!.:) The bonus is the man himself. Wendall Carson is a top notch fellow in every way. Thank You for your recommendation sunburst, much obliged.
