I've been collecting Fight'n Rooster knives for about 3 1/2 years and have watched these knives on ebay during this time.
In the last few months the number of F'n R knives listed has increased greatly and many of these are not in Parker's F'n R book, published in 1994, even though they are marked "Frank Buster Celebrated Cutlery Germany" which was in use 1982-1993. Beginning in 1994 the stamping change to "Frank Buster & Son Celebrated Cutlery Germany".
Stirling Buster (Frank's son) has recently begun having F'n R knives produced.
Some of these have the "Celebrated" stamping (not "& Son") which would lead one to believe that they were older, having been made 1982-93.
An example of this is a 4 1/8" Shadow Wharncliffe Whittler with various colored bright acrylic handles.
Any other F'n R collectors notice this or aware of other examples of currently made knives bearing the older stamping ?
