My husband bought 4 Fight'N Rooster knives at an auction. All are mother of pearl, have the Roosters stamped on the bolster (what caught my husband's eye), and the artwork on all of the blades say "International Fight'in Rooster". I have never seen it spelled that way. We got 4 of the 600 that were made. Has anyone ever seen the name spelled that way, and is there any significance?

Looks like somebody forgot to spellcheck it before the order got engraved. I've never seen it spelled that way before.

I've had quite a few F.R.'s through the years and none had the extra "I" at the end. I believe the tang stamp should be " Celebrated Cutlery" unless they are first generation. What's on those bolsters? Curious!--KV

You can see it in the first photo, it's just the rooster logo. My husband has a bunch of FR's, just never saw the logo stamped on the bolster before. If that's not a the bolster, forgive me since I'm new to the terminology lol. I believe it's a first gen from what I've researched about tang stamps and years though.

I think you're right. IIRC- 1st gen was just F.B.--2nd was F.B. Celebrated--3rd was F.B.&Son Celebrated.-- Looks like a wad of plastic on the bolster in the tang shot?--KV
