I actually JUST bought the 710 m390. I honestly like it. I also got it engraved. I know it's bad to baby your knife too much, but it's so beautiful I have a hard time doing it :P You could always get both. ;)
 
I am a big Spydie fan, but I like the 710 over the Manix. It opens like butter, and the ergonomics are awesome. I own 4 or 5 Manixes, but I give the nod to the 710.
 
710 for EDC, Manix 2 for hard use.

I find the Manix 2 lock a little hard to manipulate as opposed to the silky smoothness of the axis lock but that's just my opinion.
 
Different knives...have both...I would go with the 710 myself, but either would be a truly valued companion and tool.
 
just went through the custom makers sales area (bad idea :p) and added a fixed blade with this description

3/16" CPM 3V
Ground by maker
Heat treat by Peters to 60 Rc
8" OAL
3.875" blade
Toxic Green G10 handles with yellow G10 liners and stainless pins and tube
FFG to a thin edge
Knife comes with a hand sewn leather sheath by maker
