File quality of vistorinox's

I'm currently looking at a victorinox to go along with my wave. I want to either get the trekker (at least that's what it's called on eknifeworks.com) or the locksmith. I'd like the locksmith for its metal saw on the file. So is paying the extra $10 or will the file on my wave work just as good?

The file will work fine on softer metals like aluminum or brass or bronze or low-grade steel, but I wouldn't expect to be using it on hardened steel like you'd find on a pad lock. The diamond coated file on the Wave is far superior for that kind of work.
