i am a fledgling knife maker and i have been working with files. i cant seem to get all the file teeth hammered out so i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. possibly annealing first then grinding the teeth out prior to forging? and does anyone have a suggestion on heat treatment, ill give anything a try, i appreciate any info.
