A friend of mine scanned a picture that Point7 took at the Blade show, and I was going to post it...but it's HUUUUUUGE... is there someway I can cut the file size down and post it here?

Thanks,
Nick

Nick, there are a ton of image programs that will do this easily. What are you using? If wanted, email me the pic and I will be glad to resend you a postable version. I like pics... :)

An image editing application is what you need. and it does not have to be Photoshop, which would be nice to use. You might find shareware image editors that will open the file and give you the controls to reduce both it's dimensions and resolution size.

Since I use the Macs, my monitor resolution is 72 DPI. Windows machines might be a bit different. This is a good size that helps transmission time. Even if it was higher res, since monitors are limited, you will only see the ~72 DPI regardless and having had to wait a long download and also make it lengthy for others to see your picture on BF.

625 pixels is around what I use for the width of the picture, with the height becoming what it becomes. - this is to help it be seen in smaller browsers and to help prevent having to scroll to see the whole picture.
