File worked thumbramp

I was looking around on www.tadgear.com and noticed this small classic Sebenza with a fileworked thumbramp:

While it's definitely a change from the ordinary, I can't say I like it. It just doesn't "flow" with the knife, IMO.

What do you guys think?

Actually I think it's cool as well. I'd like to see the locking bar done the same way as an option. It'd make a good balance.

I saw a small classic at the CRK booth at the blade show with the same thumb ramp. I was told it was a special design for the blade show. Larry

Sorry to be in the minority but I don't like it. The groove pattern on the ramp just seems too asymmetrical for my taste. I prefer the clean and even look of the former and current ramp designs.
