I just finished this custom order Wilderness Hunter. This one has a clay quenched 1095 blade with exposed hamon and a 2k grit hand rubbed finish. The tang has a really thin taper with vine pattern filework that gets proportionally smaller as the blade tapers in both directions. The scales are ironwood burl with sapwood inclusions and have copper and black spacers underneath. Thank you for taking a look, Jeff.

Holy Moly! That is a beautiful knife! IM really digging the...well everything!

Thank you. I just noticed that in the last photo there is a dark spot on the blade. That is actually the reflection of the very top of a 60' Ponderosa pine I took the photo under. Oops.

Exquisite Jeff - you've made someone a treasure of a knife

Love the tree reflection :)

Super clean work, man. Love every aspect of this, and I'm usually not too keen on filework. Works great here, and holy cow! did you nail it!!
