Does anyone have an opinion about the fillet blades from Texas Knifemaker's Supply, especially the Idaho trout blade? I am new to knife making and thought I would start out with a finished blade. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.
Many fillet knives are made in China(near hong kong ) ,e.g rap???... or martin(fi)???.
To buy a high quaility, eka folding fillet can be a choice .(ssweden steel)
The ones from Texas knifemakers are good blades. i have had several friends make it up and have been extremely happy with them They are 440c and will hold an edge.
