My buddy invited me to Lake Michigan today to try to get limits of Coho. Luckily he managed to get one because I got skunked. No matter, Its a team sport. lol
I have been dying to try out my new fillet knife. It cuts like a freaking laser beam! Yet delicately carved right around the ribs. I cant wait to try It on Detroit River walleyes and more from Lake Michigan ( Kings, Steelhead, Lakers, perch....)

Made this happen. It was awesome.
 
Nice. I used to be a meat cutter. It takes a sharp blade and skill to make that happen. :thumbup:
 
Now that is making me want to get out on the water. I know a few spots for Detroit River wallys. Also some good perch holes. Good luck this year. and that is a sweet blade.
 
Thanks everyone! In two weeks we are going trolling for Brown Trout. Then on the 14th its eyes at the D! I'll keep posting cool fillet pics.
