Hi fellas,
I just threw nice black and green micarta scales on one of my knives. After finishing it off how I like it. I noticed a small gap between one scale and the tang, very narrow and not too big a deal. I've owned knives by lotsa guys with great reputations that will sometimes have tiny gaps like this. However, I would prefer there be no space between scale and tang as would we all. It's probably not a bid deal and in the past when it happened I just tore the scales off after soaking the knife in acetone for a day. Basically detroying the scales when prying them off. I would prefer not to do that this time. What if anything do you guys use to seal up those small gaps between the tang and scales ? Thanks for all the help.....RDT

its called gap fill superglue by zap. this is thick stuff. use powered residue from the ground micarta/wood press it into the gap and then put a drop of glue on it. wait a couple of minutes then sand with the same grit you finished the handle with.
