Filling the handle of my Mountaineer 1, plus sheath options

Hi guys/girls

I'm looking for stuff to stuff into my handle.

I have the fishing hook/line/sinker/scalpel/matches already, but I'd like recommendations for button compass for inside the cap and and any other suggestions to put in there?


I'm also looking a sheath setup where I can carry a Fallkniven DC4 and a stack of cord, plus a small first aid kit. I like small and compact, also I like to be able to have it ride high (so that the handle/blade join is level with the belt) or low if I have a pack with waist strap.
I was thinking of a pancake kydex, using ranger bands to attach a small tin (like this) for medical stuff and water tabs. Would have the DC4 (or I could buy the DC3) between the kydex and tin, with the cord stuffed next to the tin where the ranger band would stretch and maybe have a small torch/firesteel on the other side.
Hopefully I've explained my ideas for a sheath well enough that anyone with a better idea can explain theirs.

the other thing I'm thinking is having a kydex sheath made to suit the ESEE pouch/tin combo

does anyone know where I can get a button compass to fit inside the end cap? I don't have verniers to measure accurately.

Ive got a Shadow and ive also been meaning to fill the handle with gear. Is it possible you could post some pics of your gear?

How about stuffing a 20-dollar bill in the handle for emergencies? Regarding the compass, ive read on the forums that a NATO survival compass will fit.
