I just picked up one of these, and I must say... impressed the heck out of me. I have been an all things Filson fan for decades now, but this seemed a little excessive and pricey at $30. Then, I started looking for a cheaper one like this. Guess what?.... there are "similar" ones out there, but they are not much cheaper in price, and WAY cheaper in materials and construction. This Filson one is dang near bomb-proof.
It folds up into a reasonably small package that will fit into a cargo pocket, game vest pocket or coat pocket with ease. It also has a sturdy loop that you can put a small carabiner on to fasten to your object of choice.
For those of you with dogs that hunt, or hike with you, or even just traveling... this foldable dog bowl is the best you will find. Well worth the effort to get. They are currently back-ordered until November on the web site, but you can try one of the two stores directly.
