This one is a design from shaymanx, called the Fin & Feather. It measures 7 3/4" overall, with a 3 3/4" blade of 3/32" stock. The blade is about 1/2" tall. It has walnut handles with brass pins and tube. This one is joining my line. It`s shown with a Herters duck call, some paper hull 16 gauge shells, and my Grampa`s Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art Deluxe Automatic Fly Reel. He bought this in 1959 for $7.50 (receipt is in the box) for an upcoming fishing trip. He died before he ever got to use it, it`s still new in the box.

That's a great vision of a bird and trout knife. Perfect for those small field tasks. Very nice.

that looks great John. shaymanx....i would love to hear a review when you get to use it for its intended purpose.

Wow! I've been looking for a knife to get my brother in law and this one is it. He loves to hunt and fish and this knife looks great.

that is a awesome bird and trout. would also make a great boning knife. I will have to get one of these bad boys for sure.

Nice pic John and great story. I need to get my B&T out, clean it up and post a pic. I really love mine and everyone who has ever seen it had good things to say about it.

Beautiful knife!

It might work better in 1/16" stock - give a little more flex.

With that narrow of blade, it should work very well -

It looks very "racy" for lack of a better term - very appealing - it would have been a great knife for those mosaic pins.

With mosaic pins it would be downright classy, and in 1/16 it would be the ultimate paring knife!

That is one seriously good looking knife. I can easily picture it with ebony scales...

In addition to being perfect for many other things. This design is a winner.
