Not having seen or handled one in person thus far, I can only assume it's similar to the one on the Finn Bear. Here's a pic of one that I took the handle off of a few years back:
They may have changed it totally, but I think you can at least expect something like the above pic, if not better. I can also say that after all the sweating and cussing I went through to get the handle off of the Bear, I'm not at all worried about the strength of this style of construction.

I was thinking it would be the same as the others as shown in your pic.
I was just curious if they were doing anything different with this one.
Like you said there are no worries on the integrity of the construction. The blade would break before you'd destroy the handle I'd bet. I've seen Mora's that were beat to hell and the handle didn't separate from the tang.
I'll have to have this one. Between the rubber overmold on the handle, the sheath and lanyard hole
It's got some upgrades that I really like.
