Earlier in the week I posted a poll thread with 8 knives as potential carry knives for April. Turns out to be an even split between single and multi blade knives that took the top spots. Some great feedback from the participants, and I appreciate it.

The poll for the Elite Eight is closed, and the winners were:

And the GEC 35 Cattleman

There will not be a Championship round in this game, the winner of the poll in this thread will determine which traditional I carry for the month of April.

Please select your favorite knife from the 4 options!

Thanks. Have a good day.

Those are all awesome, Ellis. I’ll pick the 35.

However, if it were anything like my real bracket, there would be trouble. They would all be long gone before now —- the equivalent of; lost knife (Gonzaga), dropped knife (Houston), stolen knife (Purdue), ping of death (Arizona).

Haha. I don’t watch basketball, but a coworker convinced me to fill out a bracket this year, and I’m pretty sure I owe him lunch now. Last I checked, I was out of teams. Figured this type of bracket would be more fun.

Looks like the cattleman jumped out to an early lead. Will be interesting to see how it ends up.

I voted Remington just because I love that knife. Can't wait to see the winner!
I really enjoy carrying the Remington too. Suprisingly easy to carry for its size. The long blade works really well for cooking and food prep tasks. Lots of support for the Cattleman, and I wouldn't be upset with any of the choices.

The Remington was a real surprise to me, I didn’t expect to want to carry it as much as I do. But I wouldn’t be disappointed to see the Cattle Knife win, it’s also one of my favorites.
